The Nike Run Club<\/a> (NRC) may be your answer. <\/span><\/p>\n

Although a new app user myself, the Nike Run Club and it\u2019s expansive library of guided runs has begun to shift how I understand and perceive running.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was a new concept to me. Just like how there are apps for guided meditations and podcasts, there are guided runs.\u00a0 It\u2019s just you and this voice and to my surprise a very motivating one.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re a runner. Want to know how I know? Because you\u2019re running.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

It only took such a simple but profound statement to demystify running for me. Spoken by the narrator behind the NRC guided runs himself, Coach Bennett coaches with relatability and proved to me that I didn\u2019t need to be a pro to engage in the sport. He\u2019s the Nike Running Global Head Coach and the only person that has convinced me running doesn\u2019t have to be hard.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

His motto is \u201cevery run has a purpose,\u201d whether that\u2019s to become a better runner, add movement to your daily routine or to challenge yourself. After exploring NRC and easing into running, here are a few runs and app features I found most valuable.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

My Favorite Guided Runs<\/h3>\n

Once you\u2019ve downloaded the free app<\/a> and created an account, the running world is your oyster. In the app, on the tab designated for runs, you\u2019ll be able to browse through various collections of guided runs categorized for different purposes. From \u201cEvery Day Runs,\u201d \u201cMindful Runs,\u201d and \u201cAthlete Stories,\u201d every run can bring a new narrative. As a newbie, here are a few of my favorite runs that are helping me build a runner\u2019s mindset.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
