Our 12 Member Countries are:\u00a0 Algeria, Ecuador, Gabon, Indonesia, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Libya, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"senior-operational-risk-officer-at-the-opec-fund\"><strong>Senior Operational Risk Officer<\/strong> at the OPEC Fund<\/h2>\n<p>We are r<a href=\"https:\/\/dmartpreneur.com\/job-career\/agency-jobs\/\">ecruiting<\/a> to fill the position below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Senior Operational Risk Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Austria (AT)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Profile<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Senior Operational Risk Officer coordinates, validates, and monitors operational risks across all units of the OPEC Fund, all in accordance with the institutional risk framework, in order to prevent, minimize, and mitigate risk.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>Policy development and implementation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develops and implements OPEC Fund\u2019s operational risk management framework comprising of policies, methodologies, and processes.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures that OPEC Fund\u2019s operational risk management framework is up-to-date and relevant at all times.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Risk management and analysis:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversees and coordinates assessment and mitigation of operational risks across all units of the OPEC Fund.<\/li>\n<li>Develops key risk indicators and oversees and coordinates the monitoring of major operational risks.<\/li>\n<li>Conducts workshops on assessment and mitigation of operational risks.<\/li>\n<li>Develops and implements IT support systems for storing, monitoring, and reporting operational risk data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Reporting:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepares the operational risk section of the quarterly risk management report.<\/li>\n<li>Contributes to material for speeches, statements and presentations in the area of operational risk for external meetings and conferences.<\/li>\n<li>Carries out other tasks assigned by the Director, Market Risk, Operational Risk &amp; Policies (MOP).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master\u2019s Degree in Accounting\/ Finance\/ Economics or equivalent professional qualification.<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of 10 years of banking experience.<\/li>\n<li>Preferably, 3-5 years of experience in managing operational risk at global or regional banks, fund managers, or multilateral\/bilateral development financial institutions.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German.
