The fallout from the demise of\u00a0Alex Pretti<\/strong>\u00a0in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the continued unrest stemming from ICE\u2019s presence inside that state, and the extreme winter climate affecting the nation led to a rise in viewership at information networks.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fox Information and MS NOW noticed double-digit development throughout the board, with MS NOW seeing an over 60% leap within the primetime demo.<\/p>\n

On Monday, MS NOW\u2019s The Rachel Maddow<\/strong> Present was the No. 1 program within the 9 p.m. ET hour in complete viewers and the Adults 25-54 demo, surpassing Fox Information\u2019 Hannity. Maddow had 2.668 million complete viewers, vs. Hannity\u2019s 2.654 million. Within the demo, MS NOW\u2019s present had 345,000 viewers vs. 244,000 on Fox Information.<\/p>\n

NETWORKS:<\/strong><\/p>\n

In accordance with Nielsen massive knowledge + panel for the week of January 26, Fox Information averaged 2.565 million complete viewers and 245,000 A25-54 viewers throughout primetime. The community was up +16% in complete viewers and +17% within the demo in comparison with the week prior (the week starting January 19).\u00a0<\/p>\n

Fox Information averaged 1.661 million complete viewers and 160,000 A25-54 viewers in complete day viewing. Based mostly on its common for the earlier week\u2019s measurements, it was up +11% in complete viewers and +10% within the demo.<\/p>\n

Fox Information ranked first in complete primetime viewership and was the No. 2 community in demo viewership amongst all fundamental cable networks. In complete day, it completed in first place in complete viewers and was second within the complete day demo.<\/p>\n

MS NOW averaged 1.241 million complete viewers and 151,000 viewers within the A25-54 demo for the week that simply concluded. The community was up +17% in complete viewers and +62% within the demo in comparison with its common the week prior throughout primetime.<\/p>\n

Throughout complete day, MS NOW averaged 756,000 complete viewers and 88,000 demo viewers. This translated to a +13% achieve in complete viewers and a +35% achieve within the demo in comparison with the community\u2019s common the week prior.<\/p>\n

Amongst all fundamental cable networks, MS NOW was third in complete primetime viewers and was No. 6 within the demo, tied with the Meals Community. It ranked second in complete viewers and seventh within the complete day demo.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In complete day, the community had 590,000 complete viewers and 105,000 viewers within the demo. CNN was up +10% in complete viewers and +9% within the demo throughout this daypart.<\/p>\n

Amongst all cable networks, CNN was in fourth place in complete viewers and was No. 5 within the demo throughout primetime. It was fourth in complete day amongst complete viewers and fifth within the demo.\u00a0<\/p>\n
