These affiliate partnerships do not influence our editorial content.&#13;<br \/>\n        <\/em>&#13;\n    <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Stripe is launching a new closed beta program to test support for Apple&#8217;s new Tap to Pay on iPhone feature, which the payment company said will launch in the spring.&#13;<\/p>\n<div class=\"col-sm-12\">\n<p>Apple <a href=\"https:\/\/appleinsider.com\/articles\/22\/02\/08\/apple-announces-tap-to-pay-lets-users-take-payments-on-iphone\">earlier on Tuesday<\/a> announced Tap to Pay on <a href=\"https:\/\/appleinsider.com\/inside\/iphone\">iPhone<\/a>, a feature that will let merchants and small businesses accept payments without requiring a separate hardware piece. In its announcement, Apple said it was working with Stripe on integrating the feature.&#13;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-sm-12\">\n<p>Shortly after Apple&#8217;s announcement, Stripe announced its closed beta, which users can <a href=\"https:\/\/stripe.com\/terminal\/tap-to-pay-on-iphone\">sign up for here<\/a>. Stripe says it&#8217;ll contact interested beta testers with more details.&#13;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-sm-12\">\n<p>The Tap to Pay on iPhone will be available on the Stripe Terminal SDK as part of the program.&#13;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-sm-12\">\n<p>When the integration launches, individual merchants and small business owners will be able to accept contactless payments via <a href=\"https:\/\/appleinsider.com\/inside\/apple-pay\">Apple Pay<\/a>, credit or debit card, and digital wallets with no additional hardware.&#13;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-sm-12\">\n<p>Stripe&#8217;s integration will also extend to its partners, including Shopify.&#13;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-sm-12\">\n<p>Users will need to have a supported app and an <a href=\"https:\/\/appleinsider.com\/inside\/iphone-x\">iPhone XS<\/a> or newer to take advantage of the feature.&#13;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-sm-12\">\n<p>Apple is likely to introduce Tap to Pay on iPhone in an upcoming beta release.
