While you can easily share a workbook in Google Sheets, you may want to direct someone to a specific portion of a sheet.\u00a0Obtaining a link to an exact cell, range, column, or row to share or save is easy.<\/p>\n

Grabbing a URL<\/a> to a specific section of a sheet can be quite useful. You can let an employee know they need to update something<\/a>, call out an error in the data to a coworker, or simply save the link as a reference for yourself.<\/p>\n

Get a Hyperlink to a Cell, Range, Column, or Row<\/h2>\n

Visit Google Sheets<\/a>, sign in if necessary, and open the spreadsheet. Select the cell(s) that you want to use for the hyperlink.<\/p>\n
